Operating After an “Unsatisfactory” Safety Rating from $89,678 to $96,624
Knowingly Falsifying Record from $13,885 to $14,960
Traffic Violations from $179,953 to $193,890

The fine for a first-time alcohol violation has also been increased. In 2022, this violation would cost a trucker $3,471. In 2023, the penalty will increase to $3,740. Each of these fines increases exponentially in cases where a truck accident results in serious or fatal injury.
